Fred Bervoets came to the American Southwest in 1992, to the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada to contribute his sculpture, “Tribute To Short Harris” to what would eventually becomeĀ Goldwell Open Air Museum.
This digital artwork is my interpretation of the work, perhaps multiplying and mirroring the image to reflect it’s angular/harsh conceptual undertones of alienation that were inherently born into the piece.
